Ferrari was fined €5000 (£4200) for tampering with tyre pressures during the Formula 1 Imola Grand Prix, violating championship rules. The team was reported to the stewards for infringing on tyre pressure regulations on Charles Leclerc’s car during practice. Strict guidelines are in place regarding tyre pressures and temperatures as set by Pirelli for tyre safety and pressure adjustments monitoring. The FIA confirmed the breach of regulations and imposed the €5000 fine for not following the correct procedures during the practice session. Despite the penalty, Ferrari faces further challenges, as Leclerc expressed concerns over keeping up with McLaren’s pace, expecting a tough fight for a top grid position. Both Leclerc and Hamilton struggled at the Imola circuit, with Leclerc finishing sixth and Hamilton 11th by the end of the second practice session.
